Kitchener Duct Cleaning is a booking line. It is not a duct cleaning company, and it is not a directory that sells your enquiry to a list of bidders. It connects to one local crew that works across the city — the 1960s to 80s subdivisions in Forest Heights, Stanley Park, Country Hills and Rosemount, the century homes downtown, in Cedar Hill and around Victoria Park, the new builds in Doon South and Huron Park, the condos along the ION line — plus Waterloo, Cambridge, Breslau and the townships.

Duct cleaning has a reputation problem, and it has earned it. The phone call with the unbelievable price. The 'mould' found with a flashlight. The van that leaves after forty minutes with a bill five times the number that got it in the door. Most homeowners in Kitchener have either had that call or know someone who has. It is why a lot of people who should get their ducts cleaned never do.

The point of this site is a straight line to a crew that does the whole job — both sides of the system, every register, the blower and the coil, under negative air, with the access openings sealed properly — and quotes it in writing before anyone comes out. If your ducts do not need cleaning, you are told that. If sanitizing is not warranted, it is not on the quote. If the crew sees something that belongs to a heating contractor, a gas technician or a remediation company, they say so.

What we will not do: publish reviews we do not have, invent a rating or a star count, quote a fixed price on a website, find mould that is not there, or sell your phone number to a list of companies who will all call you. This site is new. It says what it can do and nothing more.

What it does not handle

Dryer exhaust vent cleaning is a separate service and is not offered through this site. Gas-side furnace work belongs to a technician registered with the Technical Standards and Safety Authority. Duct repair, replacement, sealing and HVAC servicing are a heating contractor's work. Mould on building materials is a remediation job, and Health Canada is the place to start reading. Kitchen exhaust hoods are their own trade. The crew's method follows the standard published by NADCA, and anyone working in your house carries liability insurance and WSIB coverage. You will be told when a job belongs to someone else rather than sold something that will not fix it.

How this works

When you call 226-774-0657 or send the form, your details go straight to the duct cleaning crew's office. They ask about the house, the furnace and the register count, quote the whole job in writing, and do the work under their own insurance and WSIB coverage. Your information is not sold, not shared with a list of competing companies, and there is no markup added to your bill for the introduction.
